Personal Data Protection (KVKK) Disclosure Text
As Carbon Citizens Foundation, we attach great importance to the security of your personal data. In this context, we present this text to fulfill our disclosure obligation under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
1. Purpose of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data (name, email, telephone, company name, project brief details) collected via our contact form and AI Chatbot are processed for:
- Evaluating your carbon mitigation and energy efficiency project requests,
- Establishing contact to offer custom technical and financial proposals,
- Fulfilling customer relationship processes and legal obligations.
2. Method and Legal Basis of Data Collection
Your personal data is obtained electronically via website forms and AI assistant entries, based on the legal ground of "explicit consent" and "necessary for the establishment or performance of a contract" as per Article 5 of KVKK.
3. Transfer of Personal Data
Your data is not transferred to any third party for commercial or advertising purposes. It may only be shared with our direct engineering solution partners and legal authorities if requested in compliance with the laws.
4. Your Rights Under Article 11 of the KVKK
You have the right to request information about whether your personal data is processed, the purpose of processing, correction of missing or incorrect data, and deletion or destruction of your data. You may contact us at info@carboncitizens.org to exercise these rights.
